I am so happy to have you here as you take an interest in your healing. I love working with women who are ready and committed to breaking through barriers and creating a better life for themselves.

 

A high school psychology class where we spent one week on child abuse ignited my passion to become a therapist. I was appalled at how little time and importance seemed to be placed on something so horrible. From that moment, my path was set.

 

And now, for over 25 years, I have helped thousands of children and women overcome abuse and trauma. As a trauma informed EMDR therapist, I use various theories and techniques (CBT, DBT, etc.) to guide my clients to break free from all this is holding them back from a life filled with peace, confidence, and joy.

When you meet with me for weekly individual, group, or EMDR Intensive sessions, you will find a calm, relaxed, and accepting space.

I value connection and openness. You will find that I don't focus on dressing the professional part or using the professional jargon. For me, comfort and relatability is key to create a welcoming, safe, and trusting therapeutic environment. It's what has allowed thousands of clients the ability to let down their walls, relax their fight-flight response, and find resolution.

Being a divorced, single mom of two and a dog mom, also allows me to relate to the struggles and comedy of creating a good life.
